Refund Policy
Last updated: March 7, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds for paid CostPilot subscriptions are handled. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which acts as the merchant of record for CostPilot.
1. Merchant of record
CostPilot subscriptions are sold through Paddle. Paddle is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, tax calculation, and issuing refunds for purchases made via our checkout. Your purchase and any refund are also governed by Paddle's Invoiced Consumer Terms, available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/invoiced-consumer-terms.
2. 14-day refund window
In line with Paddle's Invoiced Consumer Terms, consumers may cancel a purchase and request a refund within 14 days of completing the transaction. For subscriptions, this 14-day period runs from the date of your initial subscription charge (or, where applicable, the first charge of a renewed term), subject to the limitations set out in Paddle's terms (for example, where you have already begun to access digital content).
3. Refunds after 14 days
After the 14-day period has passed, refunds are not guaranteed. Any refund requested outside this window will be handled by Paddle on a case-by-case basis in accordance with their refund policy and applicable law. Paddle may grant or refuse a refund (for example, where there is evidence of fraud or refund abuse), as described in their terms.
4. Subscriptions and cancellations
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and future renewals will stop. Refunds for amounts already charged are only available as permitted under Paddle's terms (including the 14-day refund window and any additional rights under applicable law).
5. How to request a refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please either:
- use the link in your Paddle purchase confirmation email to manage your order and submit a refund request directly to Paddle; or
- contact us at chenkaileyxy@gmail.com with your order details so that we can help you contact Paddle.
6. Your legal rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law, including rights in relation to products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose. In such cases, refunds will be handled by Paddle in accordance with those laws and their terms.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date above or by other reasonable means.
